Léa Decan

In my imagined still life, there are... Some anemones from a Matisse’s painting.
The perfect vase I am always looking for at flea markets but that I can never find.
Some fruits from a garden that I wish I had.
A lost notebook I kept when I was a child, in which I wrote beautiful poems.
Some souvenirs from Afghanistan I would have brought back, if the country was not at war.
A very old and expensive Chinese statue that belonged to my aunt, and that I broke because I wanted to play with it.
A cloud, because my father once told me he could catch clouds and put them into his pockets, and I still believe that is possible.
